Quality Control

Quality comes first at every stage of our production, with no compromise on compliance with international standards. From raw material intake to final dispatch, every step is rigorously inspected by our experienced quality control team.

Testing and Inspection

Proven quality before every dispatch

Online Ultrasonic Inspection

During production, the weld seam and surface are monitored in real time with ultrasonic equipment.

Hydrostatic Testing

Pipes are pressure tested with water at specified values to verify resistance to operating pressure.

Radiographic (X-Ray) Testing

Weld seams are examined radioscopically in detail according to customer requirements and applicable standards.

Mechanical and Chemical Testing

Incoming coils undergo dimensional, mechanical and chemical testing, ensuring full traceability.

Inspection Chain

Eight inspection steps from intake to dispatch

  1. Incoming Quality Control

    The mill certificate (EN 10204 3.1) of every coil is verified; chemical and mechanical values are confirmed by spectral analysis and tensile testing. Non-conforming material never enters production.

  2. Welding Parameter Monitoring

    Current, voltage and travel speed are continuously monitored and recorded along the line; compliance with the approved welding procedure (WPS) is audited every shift.

  3. Online Ultrasonic Inspection

    100% of the weld seam is scanned ultrasonically during production; suspect areas are automatically marked for further evaluation.

  4. Dimensional Inspection

    Diameter, ovality, wall thickness, length and end squareness are measured on every pipe and reported against standard and specification tolerances.

  5. Hydrostatic Testing

    Every single pipe is water-tested at the pressure required by the standard; no pipe proceeds until leak-tightness and structural integrity are verified.

  6. Offline UT and Radiographic Verification

    Areas marked during online inspection and the pipe ends are re-scanned with offline ultrasonic equipment; where required, seams are confirmed radiographically (X-Ray).

  7. Coating Quality Controls

    On coated pipes, dry film thickness is measured at multiple points, the entire surface is scanned with a high-voltage holiday detector and adhesion (peel) testing is performed.

  8. Final Inspection and Traceability

    After final visual inspection, each pipe is marked with standard, diameter, wall thickness and a traceability number. All test records are archived as a report package.
