Water Transmission Pipes
A city's water security is built on pipelines that serve for 50 years. Our EN 10224 steel pipes with potable-water-approved epoxy lining form the backbone of transmission lines.

Overview
Water Transmission Pipes
A water transmission line is a city's longest-lived infrastructure investment. Steel pipe is the first choice for large-diameter water transport thanks to its high pressure capacity, ductile behaviour in seismic zones and leak-tight welded joints.
At Dibor we produce both the pipe and its coating in a single facility: a spiral welded body to EN 10224, potable-water-approved liquid epoxy lining certified to TS EN 10339, and 3LPE external coating against underground corrosion. Every pipe is hydrostatically tested and every shipment is documented with an EN 10204 3.1 certificate.

Why steel for drinking water?
Ductility in seismic zones
Steel deforms without fracturing under ground movement. On transmission lines across Türkiye's seismic belt, steel pipe preserves line continuity where concrete and cast alternatives fail.
Leak-tight welded joints
Welded connections do not loosen over time like gasketed systems. On networks where non-revenue water is critical, they provide lifetime tightness.
Potable-water-approved lining
The TS EN 10339-certified liquid epoxy lining protects water quality, and its smooth surface reduces friction losses — lowering pumping costs.
Economy at large diameters
The spiral production method is more economical than longitudinal welding above Ø1000 mm, making a measurable difference in transmission line budgets.
Reference works
We have delivered more than 150 km of pipe for drinking water and irrigation lines in VASKİ, MESKİ, İSU and DSİ projects, including the Aksaray, Hakkari and Rize lines. See all completed works on the projects page.
